Description
Controlled flight into terrain remains the leading cause of aviation accidents world wide. Learn how the Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) was designed to help keep you safe with FlightSafety's EGPWS/TAWS Course. Whether you need a refresher on your system's capabilities or are seeing TAWS for the first time, this course will provide you with the knowledge needed to take full advantage of this lifesaving system.
Objectives
EGPWS/TAWS provides flight department personnel with a comprehensive description of TAWS and its seven modes designed to alert flight crews to a possible terrain conflict.
